7 Things To Do In Vancouver This Long Weekend, September 4 to 7

Source: Narcity Vancouver

This month is full of so much energy. It’s a time for change, for renewal, and it’s almost better than New Years. Why not set a resolution now to have more fun as we slip into fall? We’ve got a few things to do in Vancouver this weekend that will uplevel your Friday to holiday Monday.

The beach is always a good time, but it’s honestly already starting to get a bit chilly so if you were going to go, do that ASAP and then come back to this list.

This is the perfect time to be exploring hidden gems around the city and getting to know some cool spots you can check out indoors once the rain sets in for good.

Plus, after you’ve had a few PSLs, you’ll want to savour the other flavours of fall.

You can find a cute cidery in the Fraser Valley to drop by for a tasting flight or get yourself to a pie shop and get a slice of autumnal goodness. There are so many ways to enjoy apples this season it’s wild.

This weekend, get off of Instagram and get into a IRL experience by finding something new in your backyard or rediscovering something old you used to love.

Here are seven things you can try out this long weekend:

1. Enter The Third Realm

Price: Admission by donation

When: Starts Friday, September 4

Address: Polygon Gallery, 101 Carrie Cates Ct., North Vancouver, BC

Why You Need To Go: Be the first to check out this new exhibit of contemporary art from Asia. Grab a coffee at Nemesis after and watch Vancouver from across the water and you have a perfect afternoon.

2. Dig Into A Juicy Cheeseburger

Why You Need To Go: As part of Le Cheeseburger Week, a few limited-time-only burgers are popping up around the city. How many burgers can you eat in one weekend?

5. Take A Road Trip To The Fraser Valley

Why You Need To Go: Don’t use the long weekend to binge on Netflix, instead fill up the car with gas or rent an EVO and bring your BFFs with you to explore a farm, winery, or cute small town just down the road.
